What we hold, why we hold it, and what you can turn off.

What we collect
- Your account. An email address if you signed up with one, or nothing at all if you are playing as a guest. If you signed in with Google or Apple, we receive the identifier and email they send and nothing else.
- Your profile. The username you chose, and the display name, avatar, country and bio you set. All of it optional except the username.
- Your play. Matches, ratings, tournament results, friends, clubs and achievements. This is the product.
- Presence. Whether you are online and roughly what you are doing, so friends can see whether you are free for a game. It stops the moment you sign out or close the tab.
What we do not collect
No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics that follow you across the web, no contact list, no location beyond the two-letter country code you choose to set, and no payment details, because there is nothing to pay for.
There is no free-text chat at a table — quick chat is a fixed list of phrases — so there are no messages to store or read.
What other people can see
Your username, avatar, rating, league, statistics and match history are visible to other signed-in players. Match records are shared with the three other people at the table, because those are their records too.
By default your profile is also visible to people who are not signed in, so it can be shared and found in search. You can turn that off in Settings, and it takes effect immediately.
Cookies
Cookies are used for one thing: keeping you signed in. They are set by the authentication provider, are httpOnly where the browser allows it, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Deleting your account
Delete it from Settings at any time. Your profile is anonymised and removed from search, leaderboards and every social surface immediately.
Your completed matches remain in your opponents’ history, with your name removed. Deleting them would corrupt three other people’s records of games they played, which is not ours to do.
Children
28Arena is suitable for all ages, but an account requires whatever minimum age applies where you live. We do not knowingly collect data from children below it.
